First Week in Review

What an incredible first week back at Fairview! From connecting with buddies and taking on House League challenges, to enjoying our hot dog lunch and mastering the art of opening those tricky locks, our students have had a fantastic start to the year. It has been wonderful to see so much excitement, energy and connection throughout the school this week. A huge thank you to our teachers and staff for all the time, care and effort they put into making this first week such a welcoming and fabulous experience for our students. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the school year! 

Drop-Off, Pick-Up and Traffic Etiquette 

Please remember to follow all traffic laws and bylaws and be respectful of our neighbours and one another during drop-off and pick-up. The area directly in front of the school is designated for quick drop-off only, so please do not park, wait, or leave your vehicle unattended in this area. Thank you for helping us keep traffic moving safely and smoothly! 

Inclement Weather 

Students will continue to go outside for lunch and PE unless there is heavy rain, temperatures are below -20°C, or air quality is poor. Please ensure your child comes prepared for the weather each day. This may mean raincoats and rain boots on wet days, or warm jackets, hats and mittens when temperatures drop! 

Away for the Day Cell Phone Policy 

Reminder that students are expected to keep their cell phones in their locker at all times of the school day.
